Correct Care Solutions Human Resources Manager in Littlefield, Texas

Overview

Our Human Resources Manager will assist the VP of Human Resources in the development and administration of various Human Resources Plans and Procedures for all company personnel; monitor company recruitment efforts; and provide advice to management regarding employee relation issues.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Degree in Human Resources or closely related field from an accredited college or university

Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years experience in Human Resources field

  • Two (2) or more years experience in a management capacity

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required

Responsibilities

  1. Act as Liaison for Management regarding all HR-related issues, with special emphasis on recruitment and employee relations issues.

  2. Represent Correct Care Solutions to various traditional and non-traditional groups, resulting in the fulfillment of the staffing needs of the Company.

  3. Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

  4. Monitor overall Recruitment process to include, but not limited to, maintenance of records, reports & logs pertaining to applicant flow, interviews and staffing; process of extending employment offers, sending rejection letters to applicants, employment verifications, ensuring proper credentials have been verified prior to hire, as well as any additional tasks necessary to ensure the hiring process is completed appropriately.

  5. Monitor unemployment process and attend unemployment hearings as needed.

  6. Monitor all aspects of the CCS Leave of Absence program to include maintenance of FMLA Tracking Log and administration of all leaves of absence.

  7. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

  8. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

  9. Assist with revising job descriptions as necessary.

  10. Monitor performance evaluation process and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.

  11. File annual EEO-1 report.

  12. Occasional travel required, approximately 10% - 15% of the time.

  13. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

  14. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

  15. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.

  16. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
