Our Communications Manager support the internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising required.
Great writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to source stories from employees & field facilities
Strong speaking skills as employee will participate in meetings with upper management, media, medical staff, outsourced partnerships and local government entities
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with internal departments
Creative ability to devise communication strategies and to review and optimize company materials
Comfortable with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication
Knowledge of the interworking’s of all media channels, advertising agencies & public relations firms
Ability to effective create and pitch relevant news stories to media
Familiarity with communications or advertising campaign effectiveness in regards to demographic research, market value, geography, psychographics and promotions
Must present company in a professional manner

Support the internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
Providing relevant content to outsourced firm for all social media channel postings
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
Assist with the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation
Monitoring all internal & field efforts for media worthy content, stories and strategy
Managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing services
Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
Work with VP Corporate Communications or external firm, developing, implementing and executing strategic communications plans for an entire organization
Deliver presentations at organizational events or new business onboarding
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
