Overview

Our Kronos HCM Integration Administrator provides technical expertise in analyzing, designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining integration software and processes inside our HCM ecosystem, including but not limited to Kronos HR, Kronos WTK and ADP Vantage Payroll.

Essential to this position is experience in using integration tools and technology in support of developing interfaces between HCM systems such as Kronos Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), SQL Server, SSIS, etc. This position utilizes knowledge and experience with a variety of human resources, benefits and payroll concepts, practices, and procedures to identify needs and create solutions to resolve them.

Our Kronos HCM Integration Administrator provides both day to day support, strategic planning and design of current and future system interfaces to support all aspects related to HR and Payroll operations within the company; administers the Kronos HR and Workforce Central system integration and interfaces, and acts as a technical lead for all systems and applications integration; provides management support for related projects and initiatives providing a structured and value added HR systems architecture; interfaces and collaborate with IT, HR, and Payroll resources in managing data integrity and defining integration architecture.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, or other applicable field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with HCM systems and integration.

  • Minimum three (3) designing and programming HCM interfaces.

  • Strong understanding of HCM architecture, SQL database design, database tools, Windows Server hardware and software platforms.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required.

Responsibilities

  1. Develops, modifies and maintains HCM integration/interfaces including Kronos HR and WFC 8.0 applications, using Kronos Workforce Integration Manager and other tools.

  2. Acts as IT liaison to HR and Payroll for HRIS system. Provides technical resource support for ancillary HR application owners and HR initiatives.

  3. Creates technical documentation including requirements analysis, data flow diagrams, software/configuration specifications, operational procedures, and other related documentation.

  4. Execute Kronos application administration tasks, including system configuration setting, Kronos and associated software application administration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

  5. Partner with HR and other end-users to facilitate the identification, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements; leads the creation of technical specifications, design documentation, and testing strategies for above business requirements.

  6. Create and implement audits and analysis to ensure system integrity and identify process improvement opportunities.

  7. Maintains strong partnerships with HR, Payroll and other stakeholders.

  8. Coordinate integration solutions using the Kronos Workforce Integration Manager tool and import tools, including business process analysis, design, development and testing.

  9. Support other IT functions in selection, analysis and implementation of new tools; providing recommendations and serving as technical resource.

  10. Troubleshoot failures in application functionality and scheduled activities

  11. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

  12. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

  13. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.

  14. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
